MAYONNAISE, RUSSIAN STYLE
Ingredients
3 egg yolks 1 tsp. Russian mustard (see above recipe) 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt Juice of 1/4 lemon Wesson oil 1 Tbs. sour cream 1/2 jar capers, drained (optional)
Instructions
Combine egg yolks, mustard, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Add a few sprinkles of cold water and, while beating, enough Wesson oil to reach desired consistency. At last minute, add sour cream and (optional) capers.
