Tilapia in Oil and Vinegar Sauce
Ingredients
2 lb tilapia, cut in slices 1 lemon or lime ½ pt olive oil 2 large onions, cut in rings ¼ pt vinegar 2 cloves garlic ½ green pepper, sliced 2 hot peppers 2 bay leaves
Instructions
Remove skin from fish. Wash with lime or lemon. Season, and dip lightly in flour. Fry in the olive oil. Remove from pan. Fry onion rings lightly on low heat. Add vinegar, garlic, green pepper, hot peppers, and bay leaves. Add fried fish and cook for about 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Serves 8
