Boiled Channa
Ingredients
1 lb black-eye or soybeans 2 tsp salt ΒΌ pt cooking oil 1 small onion, chopped 1 small pepper, chopped
Instructions
Soak beans overnight. Add the salt to 3 pints of boiling water, then add beans and cook until soft. Remove from liquid. Heat oil. Add chopped onion, pepper, beans, and some black pepper and fry for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 10-12
