Ingredients
1 cup uncooked dal 2 small onions 2 cloves of garlic 1 1/2 tsps curry powder (available in markets) 2 wiri wiri peppers (optional) 1/2 tsp jeera Oil Salt
Instructions
Clean and wash the split peas (dal) and cook till very soft. Add a little water and stir with dal ghutni. Put back on stove, add crushed onion, garlic, and wiri wiri peppers. Add a little water and curry powder and salt. Cook for 2 min. In a frying pan, heat oil. Brown the jeera and add to dal. Serve hot.
